Announcement of Prize Competitions

Applications are invited for two prizes to be awarded to Goldschmidt Delegates:

The International Association of Geoanalysts seeks applications for the “Early Career Award”

The International Association of Geoanalysts is an organization supporting the professional interests of analytical geochemists worldwide. At the 2007 Goldschmidt conference the IAG will be sponsoring its second annual Early Career Researcher Prize for excellence in geoanalytical research. All conference delegates who are within 5 years of completing their final academic degree and who are presenting original research in Cologne are eligible. The prize includes a framed award and prize money of EUR 700. For further information about the prize and to submit your abstract for consideration please follow the link to the society's website.

The German Mineralogical Society (DMG) seeks applications for the Ramdohr prize

This is a prize for the best presentation (talk or a poster) by a young scientist, who is a member of the DMG. Please see the prize announcement for details of how to make an application.
